Unheated, by design
Train in a room where you can breathe, focus, and actually hold the work.
Classes
Your studio, whatever the day calls for

Vibes
Progress you can feel
Strength that builds over time - in how you move, how you recover, and how you show up off the mat.

Meet you where you are
Every pose scales. Take the modification or take the weight — the same class works for your first month and your fifth year.
Release and realign
Focused movement and breathwork that unwind tension, reset your posture, and quiet the noise. Leave lighter than you came.
Move like you're built to
Functional strength for real life — twisting, lifting, balancing, carrying. Training that makes everything outside the studio easier.
Built to sustain
Low-impact, joint-friendly, repeatable. Breathwork and sound baths when your body asks for recovery instead of intensity.

The story behind Cabuya

Cabuya is a plant — a relative of the agave that grows wild across Central America. Its leaves hold long, tough fibers that get twisted into rope, hammocks, and bags strong enough to carry a day’s harvest. Simple material, made durable by how it’s woven together.

That’s the idea behind the studio. Strength isn’t one big effort — it’s fibers laid together over time. Every class adds a strand.

It’s also a real place: a small town on Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula where the road runs out and the water lights up at night. We found it on our honeymoon and never quite left it behind. Bringing the name to Santa Rosa is our way of keeping it close.
